Re: 424 input

yeah if you look at the pinouts in the pdf that comes with it you can see whats a digital and whats an analog input, and see if you can configure something to make sure the logic behind what youre using triggers a failure, turn of set cel for that error, you could. Injector voltage monitor is there,...

Re: Purchase Kalmaker

Because in workshop (not SP3 which was for the early PCMs only) they have a commercial MAP tune for the later model PCMs, where as we only have extended (enhanced) MAF. Enhanced is capable, but some people still want to tune MAP. If you have tunerpro definitions for editing and logging the Kalmaker ...

Re: 424 input

Yes the '424 computer was used in the VS V8 Auto. It applies where the '424 is used. https://pcmhacking.net/memcals.html As for which pin, Ive got some bad news. I read the manual, and it lists only pin D8 as analog input for wideband for this PCM. You can still use it for whatever you want, but you...

Re: Muggy high humidity days significantly improves performance - But how?

Everything I read about water injection says its cooling, so then more timing or boost can be added for more power. But the ECM wont know about the humidity so it wont increase timing any differently, and I think you're talking about an NA engine, so no boost. You almost need to wait for these weath...

Re: New engine, first start up tune ?

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/154784376971 I cant personally vouch for them, as the product is no longer available and I never bought this one. But that particular seller has sold a lot, and one of the comments makes the branding sound fake (mentions black coming off the top when rubbed with qtips and...

Re: 424 input

There are unused inputs, look at the pin listing in the 11p zip and look for inputs without a blank description and in the overview pdf, and the description of the fields in the log definition (adx) for ones which list the pin but not purpose. Note the coltage range. Knock is special, you cant use i...

Re: P10 Tuning

Thanks, but as above we need another developer with interest in adding slave support to go further. Its a hard one, because the code is stored in the cpu and we need to understand and create the mechenism of running code on the slave and using shared memory to get the payload in to the slave's stora...

Re: P10 Tuning

No. Mine arrived but appears to be dead on arrival, and there has not been much interest in it, or few posts about it. As above you can tune the calibration in a bin, but at this stage pcmhammer support for the slave cpu is unlikely to be developed without another developer coming aboard who wants t...

Re: Cables That DO NOT Work With PCM Hammer

Exactly right. Regarding the tactrix, its not so much pcmhammer doesnt support the tool, its that the tool doesnkt support the pcm's vpw protocol. Regarding the mongoose, I read there are clones of the JLT out there, its not clear if this is a bad clone or a problem with the JLT not supporting vpw. ...
