$12P clt temp vs clt voltage

Post by mag »

Logging in tunerpro rt $12P v112 BLCD V6 using ADX $12P v112 2bar. CLT temp readings follow expected temperature trend but logged CLT sensor voltage makes a step change in reading at 50 degree point. Any assistance would be appreciated.

well i thought it was 40 degrees but yes that is a normal think .... cant remember the exact details, but at that point there is some resistor added to the circuit to get better resolution or something along those lines, someone else might be able to correct me/explain it better.

Thanks for the reply. Chasing an intermittent fuelling issue and noticed the unexpected step in the CLT voltage.

An update others may find useful. Appear to have identified cause of occassional extremely poor engine running episodes, with stalling requiring full throttle restarts and 2000rpm min to keep engine running. Made take off interesting. Eventually caught problem while logging as simply coolant temp sensor connection high resistance causing fueling to go full rich, coolant temp was being reported some 30 degrees lower that actual. Sensor not open or short so no engine warning light or fault codes.
