if your referring to the one on the driver side of the back of the inlet manifold on an alloytec that too me i can only assume is a atmosphere type of sensor because it goes into a solid alloy part of the manifold, theres no port into the manifold from it!

MY Apologies VN5000, I assumed that was a map in the back of the upper manifold but yeah in the calibration there is no mention of a map what so ever!

Thanks for that link Festy, but as I think we all know cheapest is not always best so if anyone has tested good 1's or if there are any differences on units info would be good!

EDIT: Was just looking through the holden parts book & they have a map sensor listed for the VZ alloytec part number; 12575467

You will need an elm 1.4 + that starts at 38400 baud ,not 9600.I use a cheapo china usb job and it works fine.
I have a new adx that im testing that runs the elm at 115200 ,has most gm pids (the good ones anyway)including aspark.
It will also pull fault codes and clear codes.Works really well so far and much faster.
Will be released soon.

I have a 2000 Tahoe 5.7 with a tune on it. I was wondering with tuner pro and the elm327 cable that I have, can I download my existing tune, save it and reload it later without making any changes? I just don't want to screw anything up and mess up my computer. Thanks

OK thanks it is a 2000 with a 93 octane tune on it.

DId anything happen with this being able to check and clear fault codes.
I have a mate with a wl statesman ls1 that has engine check coming up.
I have an elm327 here.
Or is their another way to check and clear codes on them.

Turns out that thing at the back of the manifold is a MAP sensor, I pulled 1 off today & then looked it up on net!

Beg's the question though why don't HP tuners support any tuning off it?

They only have referencing off the MAF, there isn't even any fault codes for MAP but there is some form baro!

Anyway back to the original topic sorry for the hijack!

on the vs code the adaptive shift high/low altitude was based on MAP, hence why it's not used, but perhaps later models it's there for reference?

hey guys sorry new to the forum
when i connect up my cable and open tuner pro rt, i cant get the cable to be detected, do i need to chande the band width or baud rating?
