VT-VY LS1 codes and logging

Is this the kind of device i need to bypass security etc for my VY LS1?
Im currently putting VY LS1 into WB Statesman.

I have a OTC 3109 scan tool got mine for 129 shipped from usa.

works on VY ls1 reads and clears codes.
It lives in my race tool kit.
used it on my F250 and wifes Corolla.

a scan tool will not remove VATS you need EFIlive/HP Tuners software to do it.
