Did you see what device he scanned? As in did he click on Airbag? Body control module? Instrument cluster?

Since that displays that there is a current fault, but we just got you to look up your current faults for the SRS system but there were none.
Sooo Its got me thinking those error messages could be from the cluster? or the BCM?

If the cluster has wrong airbag configuration setup, itll throw an airbag fault, alot of scantools dont actually understand the fault and will give it a generic "SDM Fault logged".
The EEPROM checksum error is a bit of a worry though. Again, I dont know which module these faults are being pulled from? Maybe Instrument cluster?

It sounds like its the cluster, likely wrong airbag setup.

I do suspect that, checksum error is never a good sign though.

dmenace, Also grab the responses back to these messages:
F2,57,01,00,B6
F2,57,01,01,B5
F2,57,01,02,B4
F2,57,01,03,B3
F2,57,01,04,B2
F2,57,01,05,B1
F2,57,01,06,B0
F2,57,01,07,A9
F2,57,01,08,A8
F2,57,01,09,A7

Some of those may not get responses, those requests are simply pulling the current configuration of the cluster (nothing harmful!), Ill compare the responses with my notes or even pass it through the tech2 and see whats the go.

I'm going past my mechanics this afternoon. (if he doesn't close up early)

I will note down which menu it was, i'll post screen shots of each option as well.

I'll post the result of the commands when i get home...

I also tried to reprogram the cluster again with the Autel Unit. No luck what so ever.

Tried configuring the fuel gauge again. No luck. Gauge is sitting below empty and only could fill 64 litres.

I cannot disable "Police Mode", i go through the steps with the scantool and it seems to work. But when i check it again it still shows police mode enabled...

Also Police doesn't bloody work on my car either, would be nice though lol.

Im not questioning just judgement or abilities, but are you sure that instrument cluster is for a VX and not a VT cluster?

I only say that because your current settings have "police mode" disabled, so makes me wonder if the wrong configuration has been programmed to the cluster? Or if your looking up VX info on a VT cluster? Or vise versa?

Also your tacho is set to suit a V6. So shouldnt be an issue there..
You have the "dist to go" enabled, and all other parameters disabled (SRS loop = 0/off).

Also, you have your SRS lamp enabled.. not disabled..

Your other current lamp configurations enabled are:
Brake lamp
S/Belt Lamp
Low fuel Lamp
O/speed Lamp
P/Train Lamp
Oil Lamp
Pwr/Econ Lamp
Cruise On Lamp

Thats the main info I can get from that. Anything else requires alot more effort on your half to pull information out and check it such as fuel info ect.
To be honest, Im not sure why the scantool is displaying the rubbish that it is!
