Thanks, I have learned something new. I put a vacuum gauge on the map nipple and I get zero vacuum. That would freak out the map correct. I put the carb in a carb cleaner and bought a rebuild kit. Still no vac. Other lines have vac but not that one. Looks like I have a screwed up TB. What do you guys think?

Without knowing your setup sounds like you have connected to ported vacuum which is a hole just above the butterfly. At idle sees no vacuum and as the throttle is cracked open progressively sees vacuum. Was used on a lot of cars for distributor vacuum advance in the carby days. If this is the case you need to find a port that is true manifold vacuum at all times.

aha didnt know you had a carby...... I assume the ecu is running spark only then. in that case I would agree with yoda69... just swap the hose to a port lower down that has vacuum always.

Sorry about the slow reply, but work has been a monster and I had no time.
BUT Thanks guys!!! I taped into the vac for the vents and now the code is gone. Runs soooooo much better.
