Vx v6 not getting bin

All normal.. I dont see any problems at all. Heartbeat is constant.

Cant see any reason why its having dramas.

Maybe im having driver issues? i do know that i was getting all sorts of weird logs when i first connected, i went into the drivers list and seen that a mouse was trying to use com port 10 same port that ftdi driver was... i disabled the mouse and logs were ok except intermitent data issues

ive had the mouse driver bug issue before ive just had to disable the mouse thing in device manager then it all works fine.

Must be something silly i have only ever had one issue when using the flash tool and i just needed to pull power to the PCM for a few min and it came good.

Even then i think it may have even been my fault that the issue occurred.

It actually got to reqeusting data but that didnt happen.
when i plugged in my cable it re downloaded the mouse driver, i manually went and unistalled that driver as it was sharing the same com port as the cable. thats when i got it to almost reqeust data.

how the hell do i keep this from trying to download the drivers for microsoft serial mouse. i uninstall and it comes back

If that fails, the following is what I always do..
Uninstall the driver from device manager, then unplug the cable.
Download and install the latest FTDI driver from the website: http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM/CDM21218_Setup.zip
Make sure you are not connected to the car, and then plug in the ALDL Cable.

The cable appears as a mouse when its connected the the vehicle and then the laptop while trying to install. The above always fixes the problem

Honestly.. I would think about trying to setup a bench harness if the above doesnt work.

When it failed the first time, I can see you tried again about 50seconds later and received the error:

I've done a few flash PCM's but only on the bench never done one in a car yet. Always worked for me.

well i rarely have internet to update drivers when im out doing flash pcm's only ever had the issue in a car not on the bench, it's like something trips the device out, perhaps ground being noisy?
