Pin 13: SRS Diagnostic "Test" Enable

all the other test or error code fault light error code flashing works for the abs and ecu but nothing happens with the srs in mine wont flash codes or even turn the light on.

Yeah,I just had another look at the diagrams. The ABS module has seperate diag enable and ABS dashlight connectors. The SRS module diag enable connector is the same wire that goes to the SRS dashlight,so I doubt earthing this wire would do anything.Maybe voltage is applied to it.Ive noticed that when the tech 1 is communicating with the SRS system, the SRS dashlight is always on.

if this Pin 13: SRS Diagnostic "Test" Enable is actually the warning lamp circuit, I wonder if the tech1 looks for voltage there before even trying to communicate over the serial data line. if no voltage is present, the Tech1 goes "well the warning lamp isnt on, theres nothing wrong here" no need to send it any serial data, could be why you dont see any?? just a theory, maybe try forcing a DTC then monitor the srs data line while you reset the real dtc with the tech1?

here's the latest update for efilive v4, includes some bcm and abs data as well as trans data. All tested and working on my vs v6 berlina alongside the tech1, wouldn't mind some other people to confirm this stuff as well.

Looks good :) If you want to add more to the trans message you can use the VS TP5 ADX in this thread ... https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=29

hey mate, thanks for that, i did try that file but some values didn't seem to line up, i tried different values and offsets but no luck, next thing to do it add dtc's for bcm, abs, trans i guess.

were they 16 bit values not lining up by any chance?
you have to be a little bit careful as Tunerpro references the offset of the first of the two bytes when it is looking at a 16bit value whereas efilive looks at the second

Yeh I had found that out before with other values, these were only 8 bit though I will double check thanks

not sure if this means much but i captured through realterm the hex data from the srs while checking for error codes and clearing a code.
