Help logging boost on tunerpro

Post by Spookydriftr »

Hi guys im trying to(I think) change values on pin b10 for the adx that VX L67 Getrag made. I have the gauge display on the dash screen but the values are from 0 to 310 and I think that basically represents the degrees of the circle. I need to display boost pressure and I can't figure out how to do this. The gauge itself moves with boost so I'm sure it is boost that pin b10 is displaying but I need to put the values of psi or kpa somehow. Everythingelse on this adx that VX L67 Getrag made works great ... Any help on how to do this would be very appreciated thanks guys.

Change the equation at Aquisition -> Edit Definition -> Values -> Pin B10 Input -> Conversion -> Equation -> Set
Not sure what it should be, try copying the map equation from a 2 bar adx as a stating point.

I have changed what I think is correct but im still not sure what unit of measurements I should be using. I think it should be kilopascal (kpa) but I'm not sure. This gauge is definitely reading boost I just cant figure out how to scale it correctly... for example is 0 to 310 units correct for kpa. I am getting a reading of 33.92 when the key is on but when the engine is off and then so that should be 0 psi. Im getting a max of 175.44 at WOT so if i subtract the 33.92 from the 175.44 it works out to about 20 psi and my boost gauge is reading around 13psi which is definitely correct. Should I measure this in kpa instead of boost as I didn't think the gauge can go from vacuum to boost in the same gauge. If I can figure this out I'm sure it will be useful to others too and it definitely is reading boost judging by the way the gauge is reaction but I can't figure out how to scale or calibrate the gauge so the numbers actually mean something

Here is the graph at WOT. And I checked the part number and I have a delphi 3 bar map installed so I assume I use the 3 bar calculations in the adx

It might help if you post up what the current calc is for it.
