I noticed you have these for sale. HAve you run them with 808 yet and how does that intergrate?

I wonder if they will fit inside the 808 case?

Yep, there's a log from testing with an 808 back one page here.
The 808 has a pin for an external knock filter (some '165 configurations used this in place of a filter on the memcal) so integration is as easy as plugging the knock module's output into pin B7.
The module could be installed inside an '808 I suppose, but that's more mucking around than connecting externally.
There's plenty of room inside an 808 for it though...

cool, might have to get one of these some time. would be very useful for twin knock on ecotec. So I understand there is up to 2 sensor input?

Yeah choice of 1 or 2 sensors!

BTW of those who were lucky enough to get 1 of the first round releases how are you finding them?

I honestly believe its 1 of the best value tuning tools on the market!!!

i might have to order another knock pigtail. i like the idea of twin knock so you can cover the whole engine rather than just one side.

With this piece of hardware. What would people's thoughts be with a Holden 304 with roller rockers and solid lifters.
Possible to get a reliable knock signal? With the standard setup its not very successfull.

It's an 082 - close enough ;)

Yeah I've got a couple of flat response sensors left, they're the Nissan pancake style that mount to an 8mm stud or bolt and take an EV1 plug.
They're $10 each, and will work on pretty much any engine.

Sorry, bit of a mix up there but you have a PM. I've sold a few of these now, I'm about to start assembling my 4th batch this week and usually have a few available on hand at any time.

A bit of an update on the knock filter modules - they now also support 0-5v analogue output too. It's probably not much use to most people and it's harder to dial in than the digital output, but if anyone wants this feature added to their current module just send it back to me for the upgrade.

Hey Festy,

Got a member of another forum pretty keen wanting to get a hold of you on these knock filters.

I think he has already spoken to you.

Does anyone else know of Festy's where abouts and if I can get hold of him?
