Nvram works i loaded a stock tune on runs fine but as soon as i connect the write pin it has a fit and i did notice the traction control light was on wich usually defaults off until you hit the switch and engine check light was on.

you wont be able to write with the vs code, need custom code (something like $12P but suitable for VS) so you can get cals in and out of it!

If only it was so easy  You can only read from the bin - but the limitation there is you can only get the first bank of memory.

I have a Opel Vectra B ecm (GM 16202319) from 2000 , which has 40 pins on the board ... the chip is not on a memcal , rather is a 32 pin plcc AMD chip ...
So , is there an nvram adapter for my 40 pin board ?

hi guys, ive got a vt ss 5 litre and ive got the nvram board for the vn-vs etc but i want to use my ds1245y-100 chip in a stock memcal board but before i give it a crack using the schematic im having some trouble understanding it the nvram side doesnt have vpp,pgm pin inputs? or am i reading it wrong is there a better way to understand this like a guide telling me pin 22 from pcm connector side goes to pin 1 on the ds1245-100 chip etc ,etc, and so on?
also what are the numbers on the nvram schematic eg:bottom left says 16 ground and ground on the pcm side is pin 31 and A16 above it has a 2 then you look at pcm side and A16 is pin 3 ? any help what are those numbers in order bottom left goes
16,2,31,3,28,4,25,23,26,27 etc,etc
one point twenty one jiggawatts!!!! great scott!!!
