Awesome work VL.

I was wondering if it may be better to wire the 8x coil +ve directly to the battery via a new relay switched using the original coil +ve? as the total power requirement of the 8 coils will be more than the original system was designed to cope with?

That is recommended to do once up and running. The standard config of wade's module does not overlap dwell so the current requirement is only slightly more than standard with LS1 coils. Once the option flag is set for dwell to overlap then the power feed to the coils ideally should be upgraded.

Ok. I'm making a start on installing the module. Although the leads won't be here till after Xmas, so I'm just going to do what I can for now without making the car un-driveable.

Will it be ok to run the coil grounds to the back of the block and ground them at the same location that the pcm wiring loom ground is? Also with the coil v+ will a 40a relay do? And as for the wiring I've got 25a wire.
