nope, you'd need to get the full blown ignition module.

You need a VT dizzy for 8 coils as the factory pre-VT dizzy has no home/sync signal to allow more than one coil.

Can anyone confirm the factory dwell time on a VS Ecotec? Setting up VL400s coil driver with some monster coils and treading carefully

Here you go, all V6s are the same from the bins I have checked of various models ...

Rowan who fitted your Coil Driver set up using 6 x IGN 1A Coils gave some really good feedback on Facebook.
Unfortunately I wish it was up on here as it is hard to find on FB if you want to look the info & pics over again.
