they are really only checking the state of tune to make sure its not just dumping in excess fuel.if you run a good cat and are tuned near stock ratios at idle and cruise and the engine is in good nick it should pass.if you are worried tune it on an ethanol mix should fly through

should pass fine with 808 as that it original equipment. I had talked to a guy I know who is involved in vehicle engineering and had similar talks.

what you are doing shouldn't even need emission testing. A modified 808 as we all do here would be classed as aftermarket ECU which covers emissions standards so it should be fine.

No worries thanks for all your advice ill give it a go with the 808 and 2 bar map sensor and kalmaker tune! Every engineer said it needed emissions testing as no v6 came standard with turbos

Why kalmaker? Much better, more modern, free software here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=356

Far better logging, can have wideband in the log etc etc.

Click FAQ up the top right of the page and have a read of the guides to get an idea what you can do.

emissions at cruise and idle should be no worse turboed or not.if its all setup closed loop fueling at cruise and you have a good working O2 sensor it should be fine.if you have a way to log data you could make sure the BLM's or fuel trims are withen limits and the trusty old 808 should do the rest give or take tuning ie spark advance etc :D.a lot of americans run ethanol to pass emissions and they slip through even without a cat its probably the only time you would ever see me putting E fuel in a car if i ever needed to LOL

Kalmaker is what the tuner uses. I'm not tuning it myself

Yeah if I could keep away from e fuel would be good as I can't get easy where I am. Ill just give this info to the tuner and see what happens
