ok what i see holden 123 allows you to do sps porgramming on tech2win but not holden 142
Re: tech 2 bin file Holden
just for the record the bin contains a filesystem, and if you have a hardware device plugged in, it'll send it with the hardware tech2 software kernel, and that works on hardware devices and on tech2win, and if you install it in to tech2win you get a different kernel, and that one will not run in a hardware tech2. So the software version doesnt matter, its if the bin was copied of a harware tool or the emulator. Also the newer ones are just a version number, the gm systems give you the latest kernel, with the latest vehicle data, but since they are adding no addition data to the holden ones anymore they're all the same. Having said that it may be true that 141 is a bit special before they turned off a feature, but all the newer ones are functionally equivalent to each other.

Re: tech 2 bin file Holden
Holden 141 never heard of that version mmm interesting seems the Holden 142 I got from here has tech2win data on it so when it loads In tech2win it doesn’t allow sps programming but I looked at 123 doesn’t say anything about tech2win and allows sps programming
