My tip of the day is DON'T walk around the house with the charger/power cord still connected to the back of the laptop.
Dumbarse me did that yesterday and accidently stepped on the cord and it pulled the laptop straight out of my hands and smashed the screen on the floor.
Luckily i can still use the laptop with an external monitor.....30 seconds of stupidity has cost me.
Looks like its time for me to make the move to Windows 7 and a let a few moths out of my pocket.
Mind you i had been thinking about buying a new laptop....but not this way
This ones going in the shed now .
Hopefully i'll learn from this......not!
My tip of the day.

Acer Travelmate 530
At least its still useable around the house except i have to sit the monitor on the bonnet.
I could always run an inverter in the car...lol
