Managed to trigger this warning on a VZ 6.0 this week. After some experimentation it turns out that the module is on FB (probably the same as a VY) and this command solved it. Sent wil vl400s flash tool. The module did not reply, but a dash reboot and the error was cleared.

can confirm that this also works with a VX calais 3.8L

Not sure if the SRS is on the same ALDL bus in a VS though.

Yeah I recall we decided that it was not the correct bus. there probably is a command that we havnt figured out that will cause the bcm to bridge the two busses, but I reckon if you find the wire where it goes in to the bcm and tap in your aldl connection there it'll work.

I will make up an adapter to go between the aldl cable and the diagnostic port with it bridged and see if I can make something happen.

SRS on VS is on seperate bus, tech1 can read it and clear codes etc, i havn't tried much yet in the way of piggybacking tech1 with laptop to see what's going on.

just for clarity i was referring to the aldl bus from the srs where it connects in to the bcm, not the main vehicle aldl bus.

pretty sure it's a full separate data link for VS, only VT up talked to other systems.

Am still trying to find the wiring diagram but I seem to recall it being pin 1 of the data connector under the steering column for SRS data. The other ALDL data is pin 9.
