PM me if you seek confidentiality and /or dont want to call it out in public.

My outlaws need some help with new caravan park owners making up new conditions as they go which, are nothing short of disgusting. The new owners are known for it and have left a long trail of destruction of peoples happy lives and need to have the law to deal with.

Let me know if you can help / know of someone who knows. Denis Denuto?
Cheers,

The laws concerning caravan parks (and real estate in general) are different from state to state. If your inlaws are in Victoria you will need a Victorian solicitor as Victorian law for real estate, renting, etc etc etc is different to others states like NSW, SA, & Qld.

Council may not have authority to investigate unless it is about safety, capacity, or waste disposal (sewer, rubbish, etc). You may need to look up http://www.legislation.vic.gov.au/ and do a search on the relevant acts and statutes.

they don't.
they are an intermediary
as its crown land they sit between the leasee and the government who own the land.

theres a set of guidelines on DELWP about how this stuff works. i need a legal eye on it specifically around the legalities of conduct. ie: is it at the leasee' discretion to do whatever the fuck they want ; or are there rules that they must adhere to.

ironically there are tenancy guidelines they must adhere to which i found interesting. that opens up a whole new problem for them.

Point me to the paperwork and I can look at it if you want but my advice is to get a Victorian specialist because my interpretation may well be different to someone who actually lives there and knows other aspects of Victorian law that tie in with it.

Disclaimer: I am NOT a lawyer, I have taught Legal Studies in NSW and to do so you need to have studied a certain amount of Law. I have family that have worked in Law in NSW and SA but again the law in Victoria is different with regards to property.

EDIT: Does Victoria have a tenancy Tribunal? If yes get in touch with them.
