Wife is gardener in the family here.
Noticed while mowing the roses were full of Aphids. And I mean full.
Bought the usual white oil, treated, then for 100% satisfaction guaranteed, removed the aphids with the air blower on my air compressor.
Works a treat. A little collateral damage, but, aphids be gone.

Maybe off topic but a bit of Lime Sulphur works a treat, white oil is for girls

We use old dishwashing water (bummer if you have a dishwasher) works best after washing all the oily pans
