vy l67 changed to l36
hi wondering if anyone can shed any light on removing an l67 and swapping back to an l36. neighbour has lunched his engine and has purchased an ecotec as a cheap replacement now i have to install it. first thought was to just put it in swap in the l67 injectors and run on the supercharged tune obviously with the boost solinoid plugged in etc. does anyone else have an easier option that i have not thought of at all? Thanks

you could put a VT V6 memcal in with VATS OFF, the cluster functions may not work as the data message is different, but it should get the car running, a VY N/A is normally a flash pcm, different loom and PCM, Or you could retune the L67 tune to suit the n/a, change the base injector rate back to n/a for a start should get it running.

i was even going to swap the l67 injectors in. just unsure if the pcm would be unhappy with the lower airflow without the supercharger?

yeh injector multiplier tables will need changing, i would at minimum change the WOT AFR target tables back to N/A instead of 11's

unfortunatly at this point i am unable to do that. Do you know of anyone on the sunshine coast that has the ability to rewrite the memcal?
