old macbook running windows 7
Hey All,
As I know there is a lot of I.T. guys on here I was wondering if there is a way to use a rightclick function on MacBook A1181 that has 1 single mouse button under track pad?
I have read that if I use bootcamp I can configure it, but I installed without bootcamp & all working fine except mouse right click.
I also read if you hold the option key while clicking it will use rightclick instead of left but that doesn't work.
If I click option it does give me some of the functions with file list drop downs that come up but it's a PITA doing that everytime.

I believe thats too old to have the switch. You'll need to use an external mouse.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

I think the driver for the pad controls the options available under the pad setting in the control panel. If its some shit apple propitiatory thing then probably not, if its the usual synaptics then you can.

Re: old macbook running windows 7
yeah he earlys didn't do the right click function. my a1278 2011 does this AOK.
theres a hack here : https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ho ... s.1431597/
the bootcamp drivers should be all you need to make things work correctly in the winOS.
i had a friend years back with the 2011 and win7 native on a 17" - was great
