Battery reconditioning for tools

Post by VX L67 Getrag »

Does anyone know of a company that can remanufacture battery sets as in like for cordless drills & the likes?

You can buy them from sellers on eBay, I know they would be re-done in china or the likes but wondering if anyone knows of anyone in Australia?

There a simple 15.6v 3.5AH for panasonic but there is 2AH or 3AH or 3.3AH but no 3.5 & hoping if made locally they may be better quality.

Search for battery repacking, there are a number of places that do it, but they'll fit generic cells in the original package, so you might not get exactly the amp hours your looking for.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

Ahh cool, yeah I took the battery set out of the panasonic case & has 3x4 batteries in base & then 1 more in the stem section & all "PACKED" together I guess hence the name.

CHEERS!
