That makes too much sense. What about all those things you don't need or intend not to buy but can't help yourself.

I also take 2 tool kits. The one I think im going to need and can handle carrying around, and the other one with everything else that I leave in the car incase I find those things you dont need or intend but cant help yourself. My local charges $2 to get in but will let you go back to the car if (when) you need something.

Most WA yards pull everything out themselves... although.. usually with a hacksaw or angle grinder. The smell of freshly cut metal is a common theme :)
