Lots of things keep changing in the kodi world. I dont run it but i'd suggest reading a news site like https://torrentfreak.com to stay up to date with the latest happenings. Use the search and look at the all posts bit under the popular bit for the date sorted results with most recent first.

So what exactly do you want to do? Update kodi or the android os on the box?

I think i read ot wrong. Your better off with a fresh install of kodi as you need to stay on top of it with maintanace pretty regulary for everything to work. Google the best install wizard and do clean install of that is the easiest way.

Thanks mate, maybe I should update Kodi first. It has some add ons already but they won't update. If that makes sense.

I'll have a crack at that tonight. I watched some videos on setting it up but mine won't go past a step. I'll get some screen shots next time.

The addons get outdated real quick and end up with broken dependancys etc. You can use a maintenance tool kit i cant remember what its called atm but they help repair some addons. The pre loaded kodi boxs are full of usless shit and your better off building your own. That was it will be faster etc.

Funny that, I done a factory reset tonight and now stuff works, just broken repositories ( if that's the correct term )

I'll keep searching for something in english that works.
Brought it as a toy so see how I go. Certainly is a time killer.

Im far from a kodi guru. Just takes patience and research to get it working. I still struggle even now to keep ontop of it. I just found being better off starting with a clean slate and an install wizard makes things alot easier or even just other builds
