VCM Suite might be future brand name I reckon mate

VCM Suite MPVI Pro - might be rebranding new stock?

Or just sold out of the Pro units?

Could be a new one due but, mine is 10 years old now

VCM AU still has them on hand
https://vcmstore.com.au/collections/vcm ... 5542624284
or Amazon (Hinson Motors)

Aside to this, while searching I found this... https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.p ... Parameters

Didn't know was an option to use TP5 to edit etc

Seems they have purchased track addict as well....

wonder whether this means that racechrono get more of a following. I know some of my mates are getting tired of the increased costs of timing apps.

Website does look impressive though.

cheers

There roll out has been extremely poorly executed. the amount of money i put through them and not even a email, just deleted accounts, dropped of repository ect, at one stage i couldnt even buy credits.
great that it supports new cars and will upgrade someday, but for now it can wait there new version cant take external inputs.
or even worse 4.0 onward no longer works with XP.

I can tell you that this response is not going to be greatly helpful, but unfortunately it makes it very hard for both hardware and software to support a operating system that is so out of date. I have a number of clients who still use XP for their POS systems. It is madness. The main part of your business being supported by software which you can no longer get.

I have images of the system just incase the disk falls over, so I can understand their stance on "backwards compatibility" BUT this does not excuse the lack of communication.

I would expect they may have even had a sale of the company and the new owners have run in the door to change the world, but forgot the planning stage.

PS: have you tried at least using windows 7? I know it is still out of support but at least IT companies like myself can support it without major issues.

Well, windows 7 is still supported. hpt started track addict, they didnt need to buy it. 7 or 10 are both good options. Can have 32bit xp or 7 vms with usb passthrough if needed. Probably the best way to do xp if you absolutely need to these days.
