Hi guys im having issues with one of my toys its got a buick 3.8 in it but
It’s getting no spark my question is ive got a ecu sitting here for my turbo build
With the NVRAM board installed ready to go my question is can you run a
diagnostics test on my laptop Off the ecu?

You can use it to veiw data and error codes but crank and nistart condition probably won't throw any errors.
You should be able to get spark even without an ecu plugged in.the dfi just gets ignition power via the Efi relay switched from the key so if there's no spark check for power to the dfi and then its gonna be either dfi or crank angle sensor

If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

O ok i thought id ask about the error codes but yeah done the dfi an also Done the crank angle sensor also along with afew other things but ill start tracing it back an see what i find
