G’day all,
I’ve put a VZ crewman on the road to tow the race car, tool boxes on the tray, some where to keep all the spares and tools. Saves having to unpack everything, every time I go racing.
Anyhow, the question is, does anyone have any experience with using a three button key head on a VZ crewman. Using the boot release to trigger say, tool box locks?
Does the current BCM contain the hardware to do this?
If not, is it as simple as programming in a sedan one?
Any thoughts?

Re: VZ BCM output options
I know this is not what you really wanted, but I put a sedan one in a wagon and used the boot button to trigger an auto windows up. I’m pretty sure the crewmen has the same pinout so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Can’t help out on weather you can program the three button key and the output works, sorry.

Re: VZ BCM output options
The same part was used on Sedans, Utes, Wagons, Crewman and 1 tonner.
Assume yours will be a MID level as I think it had powered windows.
Just need to program a key fob and add the wire to the BCM if it's not already there and it all should work.
If you have LOW level BCM I don't think it has the boot release for MY06 VZ vehicles.
