Shoot yeah Gampy :) My first aldl in the early 90's was all jumpers and transistors, I wish I had a picture, lol

Getting end plates cut now and saving up money for all the components and enclosures, etc, to build 100. Not a whole lot of profit and if I would have found something reasonably priced I wouldn't have built all the cables I have over the years, lol. Man, at least 50 iterations on paper and my 6th round of proto boards but I really like it now :)

The tool looks great. Well done! I dont think the short connector is a problem, as whatever cable you plug it in to for the pc side of the interface will have enough length to run in the car so I think its right to have a shorter cable on the bench side.

Thanks antus,
I can't wait to get you guys some samples to try and kill in the field. Shoot, we car guys can let the smoke out of almost anything  so I'm hoping I built enough "safety" into this thing that it will never happen, even if you cross the battery or hook up wrong. That's why we test though. I'm hoping a nice stable bench environment will induce more people that can help with programming and don't want to hunt the junkyard for a connector.

I have a love/hate for the junkyard. I hate to kill a day on the hunt, but what I hate more is leaving the junkyard with a lot of stuff and they didn't have what I really wanted. :wall:

Hello All,
I haven't been internet savvy in quite some time. When this thing gets done I also have some other products I have in my head.

I am asking if you guys/gals know of an easier way to make a website that I can sell from. The sell part seems to be fairly easy but I want to be able to update it myself. I want to be able to upload pics and new products as well as free downloads of tuning files and instruction files. I plan to do alot of free stuff.

Btw, I'll pay somebody who knows and can help

Its bench power and data switching, not an interface, so that looks right to me. A number of switches, and some protection components / regulators to make sure you dont accidentally blow anything up.

Hi all:

Darkman5001, does the speaker box contain any drivers in it?
If so, I can't imagine they are doing those hard drives any good!
Other than that, awesome setup!
Mike
