Afternoon,
been looking into retuning for a while, specifically 808's, and later on buicks and ecotecs (VR/VS V6's). Been doing a fair bit o research the last few months and would be keen to get a USB comms board off you.
Would also be keen to get a hold of a NVRAM board conversion also.
whats the easiest way to make this happen?

Cheerio
also this site has been a wealth of info.

just a quick question does this usb coms board convert an 808 into n 082/305 or do you still need the sxr board?
cheers

you can use it in an 808 to log/tune, but if you wanted to put an 808 in a VR say and wanted it to interface with the other parts of the car you'd need the sxr chip and then the data would work from the factory obd port .... effectively like a vr manual ecm.

On a 808 with this if you use a vr or vs manual memcal (or nvram/memcal with 12p) you get full bidirectional comms at 8192 baud.

Hi VL400,

Can u use this board on the 808 to log at 8192 without changing the memcal?
ive got a kalmaker tune on it and i dont have access to the guy who tuned my car anymore.
im able to log data using the winaldl with the 808 def on 160 baud atm.

Edit: can i get some more details about the installation required?

Thanks
Rob
