for option 1, you need to reburn the nvram in an eprom burner with 12P (manual code) and get one of these comms boards from the start of this thread and solder onto the 808.
for option2, you can get both wiring diagrams and match up the pin swaps. I generally label every wire with where it came from and where its going, then pull all the pins out and put them back in the right order for the new pcm.

Hey all,
Could someone in the know please tell me if there is any performance increase/decrease between connecting to a '165 ECU via the ALDL port vs connecting to an '808 + USB Comms board, or will performance be exactly the same for both read & write operations?

Both should be the same
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem
