Universal speedo corrector / VSS signal converter

These can be used for correcting a fast or slow reading speedo, auto<->manual conversions, converting a hall effect VSS signal to a reluctor signal (or converting reluctor to hall effect) etc.
Works with pretty much any type of speed sensor.

Conversion range is roughly +/- 800% - i.e. they can convert a 1250 PPK signal to anything between 150 and 10,000 PPK.
They store two sets of calibrations, for easy switching between two different tyre sizes/diff ratios etc.

Price: $90 plus postage ($7 within Australia, PM me for international postage costs)

yay! go festy!

I seen one of your proto type ones, really nice work.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

Would this work to convert engine tooth reluctor input to tacho signal out on diesel conversion?

That depends on the tacho. If it's an older points style tacho that reads back-EMF pulses from the coil then it might or might not work - I'll test it on some old tachos and let you know.

If it's a more modern tacho that reads signal pulses from an ignition module, then yes it should work but in that case I also have some reluctor to square wave converter modules without the speedo correction function that might be better suited (and cheaper).

A bit more info ; Reluctor picks up 25 pulses per engine revolution(Isuzu 4bd1t) & the tacho is a 1990 fj80 landcruiser, originally points and wants to see 3 pulses/rev so some sort of correction would be required.
Tacho works fine with vp v8 hooked to it but I suppose that would have similar input pulse to tacho as points setup. If the tacho requires back emf, would a std. type ignition module coupled to a mini relay coil might work if your unit would fire the module.
I'd like to also use the signal to feed an 808 delco to simulate engine running for auto converter lockup control with the diesel.
Thanks for the offer to test it, if it's going to work I'll definitely get one.
