New custom ecotec 808 loom

Post by vlad01 »

For sale a near completed custom 808 conversion loom for ecotec to suit VN-VR or others with some additional work.

Has all new connectors and wires on engine side.

WB under dash input connector for convenience

Purge solenoid for ecotec connected to a flex output.

Fire proof fiberglass braided protection and heat proof cloth based loom tape.

4 wire O2 support and wires already run but need installation for final length and position as goes with the untaped part, 2 ground wires and engine bay to loom plugs. All these need to be made according to routing in the engine bay.

Well over $600 spent on connectors, terminals, colour coded wires, protection, tape etc... and weeks of careful construction.

Had it for 4 years doing nothing and probably will stay like that since I no longer do any ecotec stuff for my personal cars.

Asking $500 plus postage. Can chuck in the plenum with MAT installed to suit and heads up on where to get plugs to finish it off, provide some terminals as well.

Where did you position the mat sensor on the ecotec plenum?

in the plenum in line with the TB at the far side. So it gets samples of the direct air as it tumbles around the top.

I have seen some that had a bung welded into the lower manifold like the 304 V8. Mine I drilled and tap next to the throttle body on the car just removing the plenum cover, coil pack and throttle bracket.
