It will work with any ALDL program that looks for a normal comm port (pretty much all of them) and will work on your VT. I think EFIlive has the SRS reset command already done (just not sure if the trial version lets you use that), but the command can be added to TunerPro also.

Does the usb adapter need 12v at the diagnostic plug? The reason I ask is mine is in a Hilux conversion which has a dodgy diagnostic plug, I haven't hooked up the 12 volt yet.

Nope, only needs ground and the data line. The interface is powered by the USB port.

You get a full support forum instead of being palmed off to figure things out on your own (see https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2549) and a known to work interface.
