Hi All,
Selling a Holden Gemini with a Supercharged V6 3.8l commodore engine.
Engine: 1992 VP 3.8LV6 engine, new seals top to bottom last December. Supercharged at 10psi, intercooled 600x400 3” core, Holden supercharged injectors, large fuel pump, relocated throttle body and coil packs, 2 bar map sensor. Custom tuned Delco 808 ECU, large radiator, custom exhaust. Ready to hold 15psi if required. Can also include previous 2.5 psi, 5psi pulley and custom tunes.
Transmission: VP turbo 700, stage 2 shift, high energy bands, B&M ratchet shifter. CRS speed sensor converter fitted.
Rear end setup: Shortened VL Turbo diff, custom 28 splien axels, 4 pin LSD, 3.45 gears. Chrome molly ladder bar arms with full adjustable diff tilt and offset, integrated 2” tail shaft loop and floor supports. Heavy duty thick walled custom tail shaft.
Brakes: Upgraded to a Huge 1 ¼ fast fill master cylinder, twin piston front callipers, large slotted rotors with performance pads. Custom hubs. VL turbo rear discs and callipers.
Suspension: Lowered pedders, stiffer front control arms bushes.
Interior: Original Gemini seats, rev, temp, boost & oil gauges.
Body: Full restoration about 6 years ago (18 month restoration), finished in MIPA 2pack. No rust, no dints, no scratches etc etc. It is a TE with TG update throughout.
Engineer Compliance: This vehicle has not completed engineering compliance, however it has been built to comply, using an engineer approved kit.
Performance: At it’s outing to Calder Park it ran an easy 12.5 on a conservative street tune and small 205 tyres. Ran a mid 13 on 2.5 pound, see youtube.
Will run quicker with larger tyres and quicker again with a more aggressive tune. An 11 second passes should not be an issue.
This car is not a “slap together”, this car is the result of lots of refinements and changes over the years. I won’t waste your time, so don’t wast mine. No test pilots either please.
Currently registered, number plates not included in the sale.
Needs to make way for the next project,
Asking $11,500, swaps possible – let me know what you have. 0407 446 214
