looks good so far ! i've been looking at doing a 4 banger with this setup. there is a mob on the internets who makes all sorts of different 36-1 trigger wheels. they have a variety of sizes and seem cheap enough. could you remove the redundant teeth and use one of those ?

yeah i had been looking down that path, i found one on ebay from trigger-wheels.com but they are about $60 .... do you know of cheaper options ?

it needs to be bigger than 6.01 inch as thats the size of the balancer the one i was looking at is 6.5 inch so should work perfect.

on their website, the 6.5" wheel is 20 pounds. (30au$?) not sure about postage. for the muck around and waiting you could probably get one water cut. there's a drawing of the required setup on here somewhere you could probably fax/email to someone to get one made ?

i just found this http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/trig ... -c-48.html

postage is alot cheaper than ebay ones and i like the idea of the slots in them, means no work to bolt it to the balancer!!

I could be interested.
It's a pity I don't have a milling machine & dividing head, should be easy enough to make a chopper wheel.
