cheers dylan well that sounds pretty straight forward. i'd say the camira module would be the easiest to setup so i'll see if i can track one down & plug to suit.
Appreciate the quick response.

Hello everyone,

Merry Christmas

I am looking a converting my 1985 VK Calais efi 202 to delco

Just to clarify I can use a JE Camira, LD Astra or N13 pulsar wiring loom as they are the same engine, Is this correct ?

Thankyou

Thanks Holden202T

I thought the Holden LD Astra was the same as a Nissan N13 pulsar (rebadged). Same as a Toyota Lexcen and Holden Commodore

The Nissan N13 pulsar is easier to find than the Holden JE camira in my area

They all have the Holden Family II 4cyl engine

Thanks

either way if you cant find them you can easily mod a V6 commodore loom.

I think the Pulsar has a longer loom with the ECU under the passengers seat. I personally would use a VN loom with 6 injector plugs and knock sensor wiring. It will need a bit of chopping and relay wiring though.

Yeah the LD astra is correct. In my area there are usually more N13 pulsars but any of the above will do. The 4 Cylinder EFI looms are seperate from the main loom so that is nice but you need to make sure you end up with the right connectors for the ignition module and right number of injectors.

Hi,

I picked up a JE Camira efi wiring loom, JE Camira ECU, some sensors and VN V6 throttle body today from Upullit Adelaide for $143

All I need to do now is the conversion and get the ECU remapped and I am good to go

Thanks

sweet that's a good start :)

theres a bin file in the custom tunes section for a stockish 202 with 808 ecu, it should get you started down the right path.

Hi,

A couple quick questions about the 202 delco conversion

1. When I am modifying the 202 distributor can I use the original factory pulse generator inside ?

2. The two black wires coming from the pulse generator, can they plug straight into the new ignition module mounted underneath the old one ?

I am sure there will be more questions to come as I go further into this project

Thanks
