I'm very interested in this conversion. Hows the fuel economy and the reliability after this? I'm assuming they start easier.
It will be a daily driver (WB ute)

put it this way, drivability and cold starting is not different to a vn v6 commodore!

as far as economy, it was a fair bit better than the carby, but I didn't really do accurate comparison between vk efi and the vn efi, but it gained probably 1L/100kms over the VK EFI.

I have no reason to tell anyone not to do it!

Thanks mate. Did you start with a Camira tune or V6 tune?

v6 tune modified to suit the 202 as best i could work out then tuned once i got it running.

The base tune is here;

It is tuned for methanol, so adjustments would have to be made to it also!

Thanks sounds like a good option, a Turbo 700 4 speed could top it right off! Wonder if the kick down would reach?

even if it doesnt, the throttle off the V8 is at the front of the motor, the v8 kick down cable would most definitely reach.
