Had to go to the way back machine, but this may be an interesting read for you.

Things have moved on a bit since this was started and there is now more options and information available.

Re: 265 Hemi to efi
Thanks Yoda, I had seen that fat265 thread before but the website doesn't exist anymore. Lots of helpful info there.
I would like to go the DCOE throttle bodies but the turbo manifold has been built around a stock Hemi 6 intake manifold so I guess I will be drilling that for injector bosses and some custom fuel rail setup and a 90 degree elbow and throttle body
Yes going fuel and spark.
I do have an XF efi intake and a triple weber manifold and they are close to matching and would do so with some machining but it does not quite fit In with the turbo exhaust manifold. If I want to use it i would need to modify the exhaust manifold.
There are quite a few camiras in stock at the local upullit so might start looking for some parts soon
Cheers.

Re: 265 Hemi to efi
will a jeep inline 6 manifold fit? I know they are a 245 bottom end but unsure of port spacing/location might make it a bit more straight forward.
Re: 265 Hemi to efi
This has come up before somewhere but I believe the inlet and exhaust ports are in a different sequence
Re: 265 Hemi to efi
Is there a preference between JD and JE camiras when sourcing parts, thanks
Re: 265 Hemi to efi
Jeep port sequencing is different. The block is an AMC which has the dizzy in the middle similar to the Holden 6, where as the Chrysler 6 has the dizzy to the rear of centre.

Re: 265 Hemi to efi
must be JE Camira, its the only one with the right model EFI on it, also N13 Pulsar is the same.
things you want, ignition module, computer, wiring loom, sensors and any connector on the loom, cut the other end out of the car so you can easily connect it into your setup with the right plugs
you can also get the camira coil if you want as the plugs on the loom suit it, but it is not mandatory, any HEI coil will do the job.

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: 265 Hemi to efi
Thanks 202, that answers a number of questions.
Re: 265 Hemi to efi
So now I am thinking that I can basically 'pick up' the whole JE Camira efi system and install it on the 265. Extend the injector loom for the two extra injectors and probably use the Camira injectors. Swap the Memcal to Commodore VN or change the existing Memcal to 6 cylinder. Is this too simplistic.
Thanks
