Its still cant be as big as an early falcon radiator as I couldn't fit the twin Ford fans on it. That's why I had to go the 10 inch for the second fan.

I took it for a drive yesterday at 34 degrees and it performed the best so far with the turbo water cooling connected in hot temps but it still got hot at the top of a long steepish hill. It was fine on the flat sitting on about 86 degrees. There could be a problem with the radiator itself and I need to get it checked and cleaned out before making any conclusions or I could just get the 3 core aluminium big block radiator from the US which should fit straight in. Alternatively I could disconnect the turbo water cooling.

Personally i would take the radiator to a Radiator specialist and have it Rodded, cleaned and pressure tested.

Or alternatively redo the test drive with the turbo water cooling disconnected and make a discussion based on the results from that test.

Agree with both of you but its only a two core radiator, the heavy duty val ones are three core so rather than throwing away a couple of hundred on fixing this one I have got new 3 core aluminium 26" radiator coming. I just have to accept that this is Adelaide and it gets freaking hot in summer.
