265 Hemi to efi
Re: 265 Hemi to efi
Thanks for the replies, it’s more of an experiment than anything. I have a spare motor and other efi hardware bits lying around and Want to put together a sequential EFI setup for cheap.
Re: 265 Hemi to efi
Hi all, this area had been annoying me for a while and I knew there was something ugly under there. They must of had a rear quarter replaced and where they joined the two panels together was a ton of bog. They just caved the two panels in and stitch welded. When I cut it open it came back a lot closer to the correct position so not so much filler was required. Once I welded it together I filled the welded join area with reofill so its no to be problem again.
Still a bit of work required on the body line.

Thanks Sam, just has got me stuffed why they caved it in so far and why they plug welded it. It took me about 15 minutes to weld it properly. I ground about 1/2 an inch of bog out of the repair and put back in a couple of mm of reofill.

That repair looks like ones still getting done in local backyards around here. Ended up nice.
