Is there any reason not to run the wideband straight to the logger instead of the ECU?
Got ny pictures on the connections inside the ECU?On the PCB.

I am using D8 as wideband input as all inputs on logger are being used.

Looks like a handy setup. Looks like there's some funky stuff going on above my league there. Capacitor singe pin plugs. Knock sensor input?

I just did some digging and found this from Toyota themselves.

Is says the wheel spits out 24 pulses per engine revolution, given the wheel is inside the dizzy and on the same shaft, wouldn't this have to mean the dizzy is running at the same speed as the engine?

Also ignore the second (NE2) 32 tooth crank sensor, my engine does not have this.
Not sure if the above info/chart is correct. You did query this yourself.

Looking at your picture of the 2JZ-GE engine in the BMW it looks like the dizzy is driven by the camshaft, if so you would not get 24 pulses for every engine revolution as it is running at half speed.

Also how many wires go to the dizzy?

The dizzy has four wires, the four shown on the diagram, the other two wire crank sensor is not fitted to my engine. :)

I think I better go pull the dizzy cap off and see how much it moves for one engine revolution to confirm this.

It would be great if I could just shave the wheel down to 6 teeth like you guys said.
