Oh okay, what about the ignition?
Can the V6 commodore coil packs be used?

I'll just quote part of your OP so you understand where I am coming from.

You can use coil packs off a V6 but the easiest and, to me, better method is to use the distributor that is already there.
If you are good at precision fabrication then you could go the whole hog and fit the complete V6 ignition system.

Do you have to modify the distributor to work with the camira ignition control thingy?

You have to connect the wiring from the distributor to the module.

Yep. Although an air intake temp sensor from a VS V6 may be a better option as you won't need to drill a hole in your manifold but just fit it like they are fitted in the air filter box on later models.
Get yourself a wiring diagram, there is probably a link the the FAQ at the top right of the page to wiring diagrams, and print them off. When you go to fit everything you'll need to follow the diagrams. You may also have to extend some sections of wiring or open the loom up (get the tape off it) and reroute where some wires go so it will fit neatly.

You also need to weld up the centrifugal advance and disconnect the vacuum advance.

What are you doing for loom connectors? I understand if your going for new but it might be a lot cheaper to wreck an n13 pulsar and grab most of that including loom off it. Depends whats available in your area of course. My theory tends to work better in SA than states with yearly roadworthy.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

EST unit is a HEI unit without the internals fitted. The EST computer controlled everything, they were ahead of their time.
If you fit one of these https://www.efihardware.com/products/22 ... istributor
and a hall sensor to suit you can have sequential injection.
As I said before if your good at fabrication you can use anything.
