That makes sense. So is the cam signal still required? Do they coil outputs have to be tied together?
Almost sounds to easy.

it cant be too hard, but we never got a firm answer on the last thing the guy did to get it running. apparently it involved mods inside the ecu.

Bit of old thread.. But I picked up a converted ls1 ecu and 5ltr harness off a mate rather cheap. Im not sure on who made it/converted it, but I understand as stated that to get the ecu working with a 5ltr it involved mods internally in the ecu?. Im willing to give it to someone with the knowledge to nut it out/destroy it and share how they got it working? I don't need it as I find the delco rather fine to use, but it might be handy for others?
