202 EFI, Slowwwwly

Post by Macca97 »

well I'm finally going to put EFI on a 202, don't no why, i guess its just because i can, have a fair few 202s,reds and blues, and a stand to run them in so why not.

Getting wiring and a few other bits out of a pulsar for free.
just need to find a VK EFI manifold, save making my own at this time, already have fuel rail and injectors, also have tonnes of VN-VS, cars and parts, so that helps.

than it'll just be all the stuff for the computer and tuner pro.
why have one 202, when you can have 12 and counting, 30+ car graveyard just for fun aswell

pulled the wiring, dizzy, and computer out of the pulsar tonight, what a job that was when its sitting onto of another car, would there be any sensors i should of grabbed, or all the vn-vs ones be fine?

next will be a manifold and all the hardware

The Pulsar one makes for less work when it comes time for re-working on the 202. A VNV6 one woud work but lots more work for the 202.

yeah sensors are fine from v6, CTS, and MAT are the main ones ....

if you can, put the CTS in the bottom of the thermostat housing, much more accurate than in the side of the head beside the exhaust port!

awesome, im guessing i need to get the camira dizzy module as the pulsar one looks like its 4cyl only, also found a tbi camira wiring loom here at home, i think the dizzy could be here to, would it have the correct module, or just get a new one?

yeah not sure what the JD Camira uses for ignition module but certainly the JE is the right one for 202 conversion.
