Datto L18B

Post by Macca97 »

while im waiting for parts for the 5lt, had a bright idea to delco the 1800 ive got sitting here, runs great and went like a shower of sh*t in the old 720 ute,

motor is out of the ute, just in the process of sticking it in the run stand, than it'll be the fun part of putting all the camira gear on it,

going to try and mount the camira dizzy on top of the datto one,

will probably make an intake manifold from scrap, or make some injector bosses and use the factory carb one,

photos to come :)
why have one 202, when you can have 12 and counting, 30+ car graveyard just for fun aswell

That would be a good option. Another option would be to run an abs sensor with notches in the balancer and the US 4 cylinder coilpack module with buick v6 coils on top too. Just order 2 modules if you do this so you have a spare as they arnt a locally available part. Note that the trouble we had with this initially was we had a DOA module, not vibration in the sensor. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2276

in the stand and running, this thing will only be practice, so ill start out with camira dizzy, surprising how well its running after sitting for so long,

i would love to find a 120y and stick it in with a little turbo or even a sc14, but 5lt for the ute is first thing, and get the prem wagon done,
