hey mate, i understand what you mean about the grounding. But the standared o2 signal pin for mine is pin d7 (purple wire as pictured below) with no connectors in d8 or d9. So will i need to take the entire connector apart and move the o2 signal over one slot into the d8 pin?

You must use D8 for wideband input. Leave the o2 as is standard position, Wideband and O2 sensor work independently on 11P and 12P setups.

What Wideband controller are you using?

The X Series gauge doesn’t need a controller. I’ll attach a photo of the instructions but pretty much it comes with a gauge and two harnesses. The first harness goes straight from the sensor to the back of the gauge. Then the other harness goes from the gauge to power, ground and the 0-5v+ and 0-5v-.

Are you using a Bosch LSU4.9 Uego Sensor as your Wideband sensor and optional Analog 0-5v output EMS data logger.
You will need this to output to D8.

Yes I am using the sensor but I’ve just wired the analog 0-5v+ to d7 so I’ll change pins tomorrow to d8

Alrighty well I’ve changed the pins over and sure enough I’m getting a reading. I can’t start the car tonight (due to living in my suburb with pretty much a temporary straight pipe) so I’ll give it a go tomorrow after work

Now my next topic. What do I need to disable to get the car driving the best without the VSS signal?
What did you have to do Heff0018?

Nothing, I ran the car for a long time without any VSS input. The dyno tuner used the VSS to do some fine fine tuning at the end way after all the basics were fully sorted.

That’s makes it easier! So what did you do about the minimum speed for bump spark? And just all of the minimum speeds. Just leave those too?

Are you using a manual or auto trans?
