They are only good when they sell genuine new stuff, their repro stuff is usually junk.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

pretty sure anything repro is going to be better than me making it by hand though!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: FX Holden Race Car Project
ok let me clarify that, its going to be better than me making it, in that its a lot of effort for me to make as apposed to buying it already formed!
on the subject of rust repairs, I got another front door from my brothers house that was a good looking candidate, cleaned all the possum piss off it and then ground the bottom of it to see if it was half decent ..... it was pretty good, but also its almost totally lead wiped along the bottom which the wire wheel on the grinder chunks into, so I decided to find out why its been done .... all I can work out so far is that its been dinted in the centre and that's why its been lead wiped, but it must be a pretty old repair to have it done that way - will get all the lead off then see if the dint is repairable or not compared to the rust in the other one.
I also checked out rear doors, I have two more of them for the driver side, and one is dinted pretty bad where the bulge is for the guard, and the other one which looks really good, of all things is rusted in a few spots around the window frame!!! FUCK!
so I'm still not sure what direction i'll take with the doors.

Imagine the looks you'd get if you put some glass in, got registration somehow and took it down to the shops
