Re: Vlad's rides thread
im not sure if it would bolt straight on or not but think about a VS fan, they are two speed and actually narrower than the VN-VR ones.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Vlad's rides thread
I actually had VS fan provisions deleted off this radiator design as they were somewhat in the way. I have a good VS fan but I prefer the VN-VR type. Good excuse to get a new fan to match the theme going on here

Re: Vlad's rides thread
Not too many pod filter have this design. It's about time they started doing this, the bellmouthed base.
Had to modify the CAI box to work around the orientation of the radiator filler. This was designed like this to clear VR bonnets and also clears VN/VP even better in fact.
Also need to get a 90º fitting like I did on the VR to allow better CAI lid fitment.
So the pod I got turned out to fit awesome. Just need to get the 30º aluminium pipe cut by a band saw. I have measured and marked it out already.

Re: Vlad's rides thread
Got the fitting sorted.
Got a local engineering place up the road to cut my pipe with a band saw so it was neat and straight, unlike my attempts using a a grinder lol.
Filter fits good as and also held up nicely so it does not bang about on things. Just need to get some suitable pinch welt to line the hole so the pipe doesn't rattle. The VW pinch welt I had new in a box was too thin to fit on that thick plastic. Need to make a trip to clark rubber and get a proper sized one.
The whole thing now fits and screws together great with nothing stressing on it like before.
