Re: The1's Daily
on firebugs L67 gemini we used Ecotec rails and got alloy speedflow AN fittings welded to it and he used an adjustable reg - this stops them going over the top of the blower and getting hot too.
for the firewall end, get speedflow fittings that will go onto the push on end and then have an AN fitting on it ? http://speedflowdirect.com.au/gm-efi-adapters

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: The1's Daily
thanks mate will have to sit down and nut out the options when i get some time.
Tune is still ruff but did a 0-100 today, about 6 seconds so happy with that and some tuning to do still yet, will get a 2 bar map on it to sometime so i can log with that also and see what boost it's putting out, will be less than 10psi with the cam, about 260HP at wheels for an estimate from the log. Hopefully with a fixed tune it'l make the 200rwkw.

Whats the cable thats hanging off the hook bracket on the firewall there. The one with the steel spiral outer sheath?The1 wrote:will give them a go and see what they say. Ive done like the above so far with some VE connectors
Re: The1's Daily
Ive done the same as Comcal76, cut off the factory crimp and then hose clamped on normal fuel hose but Ive found most of the hose you get goes hard pretty quick. In my latest build Ive gone for AN quick connect adapters and 200 series braided line as Im also running E85 now.The1 wrote:Anyone come up replacement ideas for the factory push on fuel lines to the firewall from the fuel rail?
Ive gone through 2 hoses there all degraded and leak cause the rubber is failing, The supply line on the rail end on these L67's are larger, i found the VE Rail hose connector is the same size and isn't a compression fitting so i cut one off and made my own with double hose clamps and normal 10mm fuel hose. Holden dont stock or sell the fuel hoses new anymore, part number is 92078959. Only other thing im guessing i can do is replace the whole rail with aftermarket.

Re: The1's Daily
Hey ejukated how do you compensate for the variation in E85? From my research it varies fro E50 to E85 giving some concern with tuning without flex fuel ability.
Re: The1's Daily
To be honest I don't see much variation. I pretty much exclusively fill up at my local United. Today I actually fired up my E85 L67 after 1 year of being stationary. It fired right up on the E85 that was in the tank, despite what people say, the injectors are fine, pump is fine, and the fuel in the tank reads 80% ethanol according to my ethanol sensor on the return line. Few years back people were saying Caltex E85 was less consistent etc. But I never used it.Charlescrown wrote:Hey ejukated how do you compensate for the variation in E85? Hope that helps
