depends on fuel economy, the power is the same really, atm it's reading about 3L/100 more. im interested in summer performance though will it keep the performance up over pulp when temps get hot?

Not sure if i mentioned it before but i used a fluke meter to measure the surface temp of the headers at the heads, 98ron ran around 190c, E85 ran around 160c so def cooler

i think E85 holds well though, last year when pulp fuel skyrocketed E85 was still at $1.20 as it's made here just up the road and costs havn't changed.

A mate of mine has a drag car. He's just spent about $1k converting it to E85 from some fancy ass petrol. Something like 110 octane and oxygenated at around $4 a litre I think. Payback there in itself plus other benefits from the E85 too.

In melbourne on our way back from sandown last year must of been around September when the supercars were there. Was near Albert park area it was a united. Every chance I'm wrong but pretty sure it was as I was sort of looking forward to stopping there to see it.

Dont move to Perth then!!

Current cheapest price of U91 is 104.3 and E85 is 127.9. Source: http://www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au/fuelwatc ... /home.jspx

Oil price is low so unleaded is nice and cheap, corn price must be high at the moment. Makes it very unattractive for anyone not using it for the extra go.
